I live in a two bed terraced house with an enclosed garden. I have a wide variety of toys, books, games, arts and crafts and other resources at the children’s disposal; we use the garden for messy and sensory play and I have a ‘water wall’ and a mud kitchen which give the children lots of opportunities for exploration and discovery.
Our daily routine consists of a school run, then an outing somewhere for the morning.
We have many and varied outings – toddler groups, soft play, farms, parks, activity centres, garden centres, gardens, the beach, National Trust properties, WWT Arundel, castles, a pumpkin farm, lavender and chamomile fields, canal boat journeys, bus trips, train rides and are always on the lookout for other ideas.
When at home, especially in the afternoon, we do art and crafts, messy play, dressing up, small world play, music time, TV, baking, water play, garden play, story time and many others.
We do a further school run in the afternoon then round the day off with a free play session and tea before home time.
